Alex Jones took her children on a family day out to a nostalgic location from her childhood on Thursday (16 February).
The One Show presenter shared a video compilation of her family day trip to an open air museum in Wales, which she used to visit as a child.
"Today I took the children to somewhere I loved going as a child and we had a great time," wrote Alex in a caption on Instagram, saying the family had decided to make the most out of a cloudy day.
St Fagan's National Museum is situated a short distance from Cardiff and features ancient buildings in its grounds, alongside re-erected buildings which showcase times past and traditional crafts.
In the video shared to her 342k followers, Alex's children can be seen running around the grounds in front of a grand building and traditional village stores, as well as leaning up onto the counter of an old-fashioned sweet shop.
The video also shows barn-style buildings and the inside of an old school house, complete with rows of wooden desks, plus a real carpenter at work with traditional materials.
"If you haven’t been…go!!! So much to see. Such a unique experience!" Alex added in her caption alongside the sweet video.
Some of Alex's followers appeared to recognise the location, with one writing, "It is a right of passage for all Welsh Children and as adults is very nostalgic."
Others said, "Many a childhood day our spent here, love it!" and "I always take my daughter every time I come back home to Wales. It's the best place ever!"
