Strictly’s Karen Hauer and husband Jordan Wyn-Jones introduce dog

Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Karen Hauer and her husband, Jordan Wyn-Jones, have introduced fans to the newest addition to their family – a rescue dog called Joey.

The couple already has three rescue dogs – Betty, Marley and Phoebe – who are slowly warming to the newest member of their pack.

Karen posted the update on Instagram with a video showing how Joey was settling in with the family, and explained in the caption that he is a tripaw – one of his legs had to be amputated – just like Phoebe.

She captioned the video: "Welcome to the pack beautiful boy. Joey is a vizsla. Joey loves carrots. We rescued him through @vizslamentes_uk.

"He was born with a deformed leg which had to be amputated. This won't stop him from being incredibly happy and from having all the fun with his new pack. Thank you so much for bringing our baby boy safely to the UK from Hungary."

She added: "We love all of our rescue dogs and we would love to keep spreading the word on rescuing animals in need of a forever, safe, loving home."

Karen married fitness professional Jordan in June this year and the pair have been expanding their pack of adorable rescues dogs.

Their latest addition to the family came from a charity which, according to its Instagram account, specialises on rehoming vizsla and pointer dogs.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
