The Countess of Wessex stepped out in a chic camel coat during a trip to Forfar in Scotland on Tuesday (1 November).
Sophie Wessex was visiting the town with her husband, Prince Edward (the Queen’s youngest son). While in Scotland, the royals are known as the Earl and Countess of Forfar since they received the titles from Her Majesty in 2019.
While in Forfar, the Earl and Countess joined a special service of thanksgiving for the life of the Queen, following which they were able to meet members of the congregation.
Sophie Wessex also visited a new early learning and childcare centre where she joined in with some of the children there, and unveiled a plaque to officially open the building.
While Sophie was opening the centre, Prince Edward toured a historic family farm where potatoes are being grown for Scotland’s first vodka distillery, Ogilvy Distillery.
For the Scottish visit, Prince Edward wore a traditional kilt while Sophie Wessex opted for a classic autumnal ensemble.
The Countess went for a seasonal wardrobe staple with her midi-length camel coat, which she paired with simple gold jewellery.
