Stacey Dooley reunites with Strictly pros for Kevin Clifton show

Stacey Dooley has reunited with the Strictly Come Dancing professionals as they attended a press night for Strictly Ballroom The Musical in support of her partner Kevin Clifton.

Starring in the show as Scott Hastings in the Baz Luhrmann musical, Clifton arrived at the press event with his pregnant partner, and Strictly Come Dancing 2018 champion, Dooley.

Joining them for the evening were a whole host of Strictly stars and judges who were all in attendance to show their support for ex Strictly dancer Clifton and his co-star, and former Strictly contestant, Maisie Williams.

Clearly thrilled to see their pregnant friend, Strictly pros Jowita Przystal, Nancy Xu, Janette Manrara, Joanne Clifton and Alijaz Skorjanec all cuddled up to Dooley for a pic with her growing baby bump.

Also in attendance was Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood and former dancer Neil Jones, who attended the event with his girlfriend, Love Island star Chyna Mills.

Clifton will join former EastEnders star Smith for the UK tour of Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom the Musical, an adaptation of his 1992 film of the same name. The duo previously won the 2019 Children in Need Strictly special.

Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood directs and co-choreographs the production, previously releasing a short statement where he said he was "delighted" to welcome Smith and Clifton to the show.

"I'm delighted that the super talented Maisie Smith is joining Kevin Clifton on the Strictly Ballroom UK tour," said the judge. "I can't wait to see them dance together again. Expect some sexy moves, sizzling costumes and a simply sensational evening! I know that they'll both be FAB-U-LOUS!"

Dooley shared the news that she was expecting her first child with Clifton via her social media earlier this year with a polaroid photograph of her cradling her baby bump.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
