I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is finally returning to Australia after two years in the UK – but sadly, one of the show's famous faces won't be back.
Medic Bob, who has been a part of the ITV show since it started in 2002, is being replaced by another medic.
Real name Robert McCarron, he is reportedly too busy with other work commitments to continue with the Ant and Dec-fronted show.
Bob already hosts a programme where he travels round Australia, as well as being part of the German version of I'm a Celebrity.
A spokesperson for the ITV reality show said: "Bob will always be a friend to the show. We wish him all the very best and thank him for his hard work."
Medic Bob has been a part of many of the show's more memorable moments. He was present during the live trial that saw Gillian McKeith pass out, and has also been on hand to remove cockroaches from various campmates, including from Harry Redknapp's ear in 2018 and Fatima Whitbread's nostril in 2011.
I'm a Celebrity will be back in Australia for the first time in two years, after the Covid-19 pandemic meant it had to change location to Gwrych Castle in Wales.
ITV said: "Returning to its home in Australia after a two-year break, our celebrities will leave their plush pads and luxuries far behind as they spend up to three weeks taking on the Australian jungle with a whole host of surprises created for them."
A special All-Stars version of the show, with returning campmates, is also currently being filmed, and set to air next year.
Ant and Dec confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: "South Africaaaaaaa! That’s right, we’re filming a very special version of I’m a Celebrity in South Africa which is coming to your tellies in 2023 #ImACeleb."
