The Prince and Princess of Wales are conducting their first public outing since receiving their new titles, and they have chosen a place close to their hearts.
The Prince and Princess began their visit in Anglesey, Wales, where the pair first lived after getting married and where Prince William worked as a Search and Rescue Pilot.
As the couple are now the Princess and Princess of Wales, a Welsh tour is a fitting first engagement, while beginning in Anglesey is a sentimental nod to the first place they called home together and the community they were a part of.
The pair met crew and volunteers at the RNLI Holyhead Lifeboat Station in Treardurr Bay, and headed to the Holyhead Marina and Café Bar to meet residents and the local Sea Cadet unit. Photographs show the couple being presented with roses by a young boy outside of the Lifeboat Station.
Following their North Wales stop, Prince William and Kate travelled to Swansea in South Wales to visit a community hub offering support to local residents at the re-developed St Thomas Church.
For her first official outing as the Princess of Wales, Kate wore a red wool coat from LK Bennet with black wide leg trousers, heeled boots and a pair of gold hoop earrings by Spells of Love.
The Princess cinched in her ensemble with a smart monochrome belt by ba&sh, which is available in black, red and tan in three sizes.
The couple, formerly known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were also on their first visit since the end of the royal mourning period for the Queen.
