Ross Kemp has revealed how likely it is that will ever make a full-time return to EastEnders.
The legendary former soap star first found fame as the gritty Grant Mitchell between 1990 and 1999 on the BBC soap.
The character is returning in a special flashback episode, played by Teddy Jay, which will reveal all about the Mitchells' past.
When asked if he would would "ever go back to the Square full time", Kemp said during an appearance on The Big Breakfast: "You never say never."
"It's either that or pantomime or maybe both!" he then laughed.
Kemp went on to confess that he doesn't have very good memories of his time working on the show.
Revealing he would be stuck on set for hours on end, he explained: "You're paddling quite quickly, it was not working down a coal mine or dealing with really really heavy stuff, but you're there for long days."
Kemp added: "It was fun honestly, and it was a great time to be in the soap."
Meanwhile, EastEnders viewers last saw Grant in the autumn of 2016, in a year which saw him pop up in Walford rather a lot.
When mum Peggy (Dame Barbara Windsor) revealed she had a terminal brain tumour, Grant came to Albert Square to be by her side.
At the moment, Grant is currently living in Portugal, which has been his home with his daughter, Courtney, ever since he left Albert Square for good.
Elsewhere, fellow soap icon Adam Woodyatt recently shared his latest thoughts about whether Ian Beale could return to Albert Square.
While speaking to Christine Lampard on Lorraine this week (September 2), Adam was asked if he thought he would ever go back to the role, to which he replied: "It doesn't matter what happens, I'm always going to be Ian Beale. He's part of the country.
"The door is open. That door is open and lots of other doors are open!"
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
