Neighbours star Jason Donovan has opened up about his return to the soap as he teased emotional final scenes with co-star Kylie Minogue.
Speaking to hosts Rylan Clark and Alex Jones on tonight's (June 28) The One Show, Donovan described the "great chemistry on-screen" between himself and Minogue.
The Australian star kept his card close to his chest though about what fans can expect, saying: "I'm not going to give too much away about the episode. You're going to have to switch over to Channel 5."
"I want to know that final scene. Is it you and Kylie getting out of that car and going 'we're home'?" Rylan quizzed but Donovan remained tight-lipped.
"There's a bit of denim involved that's for sure," quipped Donovan in reference to the eighties fashion trend.
Rylan and Alex even quoted Minogue, who had previously called the scenes "emotional" in an attempt to pry more information from Donovan.
"You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory, and there's so much when you come down that street," he added. "It was emotional, but it's filming and it moves on. You'll have to wait and see."
Kylie and Jason found fame playing Charlene and Scott but recently it was revealed that the duo only had half a day on set to film, and that body doubles were used for shots that they didn't have time for.
Neighbours will come to an end in early August having been on air for 37 years, after a UK broadcaster could not be found following Channel 5 pulling funding.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 and streams on My5.
