We've got the first teaser trailer for My Policeman, starring Harry Styles in the lead role as closeted cop Tom Burgess alongside The Crown's Emma Corrin.

Tom marries school teacher Marion (Emma Corrin) while continuing his relationship with museum curator Patrick (Peaky Blinders' and The Last Kingdom's David Dawson) in 1950s Britain.

The love triangle unfolds during a time when same-sex relationships between men were illegal in the UK. My Policeman also flashes forward to the 1990s where Tom, Marion and Patrick have one last chance to repair the damage of the past.

While there's not too much to be gleaned from the brief teaser trailer, we do get a sense of the romantic drama in store as we hear voiceover of Tom talking to Patrick as they're staring at a painting and Patrick asks him how it makes him feel.

"You can sense the waves. You know how strong they are, like swimming in rough surf," Tom explains, with Patrick (likely in a nod to their affair) responding: "You feel they could crush you or take you under. You just have to let it take hold of you."

My Policeman also stars Linus Roache, Gina McKee and Rupert Everett as older versions of Tom, Marion and Patrick, respectively, for the 1990s sequences of the movie.

If the teaser trailer isn't enough Harry for you, Prime Video also released the first poster for the movie yesterday (June 14) to tease the first trailer. My Policeman will be released in cinemas on October 21 and will arrive on Prime Video on November 4.

It's a busy movie year for Harry Styles as we'll also see him in Don't Worry Darling opposite Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde. Earlier this year, he opened up about feeling "vulnerable" during his first-ever nude scene.

"I was naked in My Policeman. There's no peen in the final cut. There's bum bum... I don't think the peen was intended to be involved. I think the most important thing in that stuff is trust," he explained.

"If at any point either one of you is uncomfortable, I think having the conversation where it's like, 'It doesn't matter if they're getting great stuff, if you don't feel good, you tell me and we'll stop.'"

My Policeman is released in cinemas on October 21 and will arrive on Prime Video on November 4.
