Strictly Come Dancing 2021 feels like ancient history these days, but AJ Odudu has given fans a brief blast from the (recent) past with a mini cast reunion.
AJ, who was forced to pull out of last year's Strictly final due to injury, revealed that she and her fellow contestants John Whaite and Rhys Stephenson had enjoyed a night out together at Johannes Radebe's show, Freedom.
In a series of adorable photos on Instagram, AJ, John, Rhys, and Johannes embraced backstage at the Freedom Tour, with the gang clearly delighted to be back together once more.
AJ even gave us a glimpse of Johannes in a sequinned get-up, so really, it's like Strictly never left our screens.
Speaking of Strictly Come Dancing, head judge Shirley Ballas recently admitted that she's open to the idea of expanding the judging panel for 2022.
Just days after the latest professional line-up was confirmed, Shirley reflected on the possibility of both Anton Du Beke and Bruno Tonioli offering their expert feedback when the series returns later this year.
Due to travel restrictions, fan favourite Bruno was absent from last year's competition for the first time in the show's history, with ex-pro Anton stepping in.
"I hope Anton stays, but we could have five seats," Shirley said last month, before hinting that it's unlikely Bruno will be missing for a second year.
"I just did the [Strictly] tour with Bruno and he was on point and on form," she added. "There is nobody like Bruno. He is a force to be reckoned with."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
