When stars attend the Oscars, it's common for them to bring a partner or loved one with them to celebrate. For the 2022 ceremony, Nicole Kidman graced the red carpet with her husband, while Judi Dench shared a sweet family moment with her grandson.
However, hearts were stolen by Jamie Lee Curtis' very special guest, an adorable puppy!
Everyone at the ceremony and watching from home gushed over the sweet little animal. And, the reason Jamie appeared with the puppy was to mark a very tender moment. The actress was delivering a presentation on the late and legendary Betty White, who sadly passed away aged 99 last year. Jamie's decision to attend the ceremony with the adorable pup and her choice of a Stella McCartney gown were to honour Betty's legacy as an animal lover and advocate of animal rights.
Throughout the ceremony, Jamie Lee Curtis wowed in a Stella McCartney gown. This was also a nod to Betty White, as Stella McCartney is a designer known for her dedication to animal rights.
Jamie looked stunning in the navy gown. The dress featured a high-neck and long-sleeved style with a glitter overlay, which made for a stunning, flattering and glamorous look on the actress.
Moreover, Jamie used her fashion choice to show solidarity with another very important cause. The star could be seen walking the red carpet sporting a blue ribbon wrapped around her fingers, which simply read '#WithRefugees.' This is thought to be a nod to the ongoing and horrendous conflict in Ukraine.
Jamie honoured some truly important causes throughout the evening.
