Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe is in no hurry to return for a Cursed Child movie, but he hasn't ruled it out completely.
Debuting on stage six years ago, the play (created by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany) unravels 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, with The Boy Who Lived now head of the Ministry of Magic's Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
Meanwhile, his son Albus is about to embark on his Hogwarts education.
While speaking to The New York Times recently, Radcliffe was asked about reprising his character if a big-screen adaptation ever materialises.
"This isn't the answer that anybody's going to want, but I think I was so able to go back [for the HBO Max reunion special] and enjoy it because it's not a part of my day-to-day life anymore," he said.
"I'm getting to a point where I feel like I made it out of Potter okay and I'm really happy with where I am now, and to go back would be such a massive change to my life."
The 32-year-old added: "I'm never going to say never, but the Star Wars guys had like 30, 40 years before they went back. For me, it's only been 10. It's not something I’m really interested in doing right now."
These comments echo the ones he made two years ago, when the actor explained: "I like what my life is now. I'm not saying that I'll never go back into any franchise, but I like the flexibility that I have with my career now.
"And I don't want to get into a situation where I'm signed up for one series for years in advance."
