Bridgerton season 2 is just around the corner, and fans of Jonathan Bailey can rejoice, as his character Anthony is moving front-and-centre as he faces his own romantic dilemma.
We already knew that Anthony was going to find his head turned by newcomer Edwina Sharma – and her sister Kate – but now we get a glimpse of the drama in this brand new trailer.
Not only do we get to see the chemistry between Anthony and the Sharmas, but we also get a throwback to the iconic Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice, with Anthony stepping out of the lake with a nearly see-through soaked shirt.
Of course, if the people were to find out about the love triangle, it would cause "considerable scandal indeed", and Anthony knows that he's walking a very thin rope, noting to Kate: "My honour is hanging by a thread that grows more precarious with every moment in your presence."
By the time the credits roll on the final episode, will he choose to follow his heart, or the rules of society?
But that's not all this trailer hints at, as Lady Whistledown (who we know is secretly Penelope Featherington) still has everyone clutching their pearls with her gossipy newsletters, and Queen Charlotte is determined to, as she puts it, "entrap the scribbler".
Will Lady Whistledown's true identity be revealed to all?
Thankfully we won't have wait to long to see the drama unfold, as Bridgerton season 2 is just over two weeks away.
Bridgerton season 1 is now available to watch on Netflix. Season 2 will premiere on March 25. Secret Cinema with Fever Present Bridgerton is open now in a secret outer London location. To purchase tickets, head here.
