Fearne Cotton took to Instagram on Sunday (27 February) to share six books that had a big impact on her wellbeing in a range of ways, along with recommendations for those struggling with anxiety.
Writing in the caption she told fans and followers; "Some books that have genuinely helped me. Each in a very different way yet each has left me feeling positive and boosted."
Continuing; "If you have trouble with anxiety make sure you monitor what you’re letting in.
Read good book, watch positive tv, listen to gentle podcasts, watch films that boost you. 📺🎥🎙📚"
A mix of books new and old, they span advice from self love to wisdoms from a forest monk.
Fearne's own books are of course of a similar nature, and have proved very popular.
She recently shared a message to those posting her books on Instagram writing; "I always very much appreciate the book tags folks. It’s interesting to see where you’re reading my books and to see the foreign translations too."
And spoke of her upcoming release Bigger Than Us, which has now been released, the writer told her followers; "If you’ve read my previous books I think you’ll enjoy my new book out in January but it might not be what you’re expecting. It’s the most joyful book I’ve written for many reasons. It helped me to lose some old baggage I was lugging around and has given me some new practises that have brought some comfort as we live through this sh*t show."
