Congratulations are in order for Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, who has announced her engagement to Jasper Waller-Bridge, the brother of Fleabag star Phoebe.
Michelle, 40, and Jasper, 34, shared the announcement of their betrothal in The Times, the newspaper reports.
The Lady Mary actress and her film and TV producer fiancé have reportedly been together since 2019 after meeting through friends, and were first seen together at the Rome Film Festival.
The happy news comes seven years after the tragic death of Michelle's former fiancé John Dineen from cancer in 2015 at the age of 34.
Speaking about John's death to The Guardian in 2017, Michelle revealed that she considers herself a widow. "Oh, I refer to myself as a widow, yes," she told the newspaper. "We were engaged, and married at heart, and so I do consider myself a widow."
