Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash share wedding update

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have shared an update on their planned wedding after postponing their big ceremony for a second time.

The X Factor singer-turned-presenter is currently on maternity leave, but took the time to video call in to the Loose Women Christmas special last week, alongside her fellow television personality husband, to talk about their potential plans.

"We would love, if all goes well – because COVID's still massive and you never know what's around the corner – but we would love to get married in July next year," Solomon said. "We really would. It will be so nice to have the boys and Rose there as well."

They previously prepared to get married in July of this year, and had booked the venue, although Solomon did admit that she wishes they had instead planned to get married in the garden of their Instagram-famous home, Pickle Cottage.

This year saw the pair welcome their newest child, Rose, and they told the Loose Women panel that their daughter is really well-behaved, although their son Rex likes to take charge of the parenting quite often.

Stacey also recently launched a BBC One series, Sort Your Life Out, in which she helps people declutter their homes by moving everything into a warehouse.

Meanwhile, Joe took part in this year's series of Celebrity MasterChef and made it all the way to the final, but was pipped to the post by Kadeena Cox MBE.

He returned for the second of the festive specials, titled Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook-Off, where the judges humorously noted that he was still as messy a cook as before. Although his dishes impressed, he was beaten by Reverend Richard Coles.

Stacey previously said that she should be back on Loose Women early in 2022.
