Harry Potter's Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe are just some of the stars gearing up to reunite and reminisce about the magical movie franchise in honour of its 20th anniversary.
Ahead of the pre-recorded documentary, which is titled Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, being released on New Year's Day (January 1, 2022), Sky has unveiled its first official trailer – and it looks to be an emotional event.
In the video, the main trio (and more!) descend upon the Warner Bros Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter to revisit the original sets and look back on their time making the films, two decades on from when the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was released.
"The thing that scared me the most was the implication that the most meaningful thing in our life was done," Radcliffe, who famously brought the titular wizard to life, admits in the clip. "And there's something so joyous about seeing everyone and being like, 'It wasn't'."
"It's a strong bond that we'll always have," Grint adds. "We're family. We'll always be part of each other's lives."
Elsewhere, Helena Bonham Carter (who played Bellatrix Lestrange) recalls the scene in which Watson's Hermione Granger uses Polyjuice Potion to transform herself into Bellatrix and sneak into the latter's vault at Gringotts Wizarding Bank – a moment that Carter, of course, was tasked with acting out.
The new promo also sees Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) join Grint, Watson and Radcliffe on their trip down memory lane.
Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Oliver Phelps (George Weasley), James Phelps (Fred Weasley), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge) and director Chris Columbus will feature, too.
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will premiere on January 1, 2022 on HBO Max. In the UK, it will air on Sky and NOW.
