Harry Potter stars Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe reunite at Hogwarts in a new look at HBO Max's upcoming anniversary special – which is appropriate given the show's title...
In celebration of it being two decades since the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was released in cinemas, the main trio (and more!) descended upon the Warner Bros Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter to revisit the original sets and look back on the magical movie franchise.
Together, they'll share behind-the-scenes anecdotes and never-before-seen clips with fans who will be tuning into the pre-recorded documentary from New Year's Day.
According to the teaser that was released earlier this week, Helena Bonham Carter (who played Bellatrix Lestrange), Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) fill out the line-up.
Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Oliver Phelps (George Weasley), James Phelps (Fred Weasley), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge) and director Chris Columbus will also feature.
Last month, Watson, who famously brought Harry's bookish bestie Hermione Granger to life, took to Instagram to commemorate the Wizarding World series, and praise her former co-stars.
"Harry Potter was my home, my family, my world and Hermione (still is) my favourite fictional character of all time," she wrote alongside a vintage snap of herself, Radcliffe and Grint. "I think a journalist once said it was irritating how many times during an interview I mentioned how lucky I was and started counting... BUT I DAMN WELL KNEW!!! And still know.
"I am proud not just of what we as a group contributed as actors to the franchise but also as the children that became young adults that walked that path. I look at my fellow cast members now and I am just so proud of who everyone has become as people," she continued. "I am proud we were kind to each other that we supported one another and that we held up something meaningful."
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will premiere on January 1, 2022 on HBO Max. In the UK, it will air on Sky and NOW.
