Strictly Come Dancing celebs and pros announced for live tour

Strictly Come Dancing – the Live Tour 2022 has confirmed its list of celebrities and professionals.

Kicking off at Birmingham's Utilita Arena on January 20 and running through to February 13, where it'll close the curtain at The O2 in London, this 33-performance haul promises to thaw out those cold winter days and nights.

Via Manchester Evening News, this year's semi-finalists John Whaite, Johannes Radebe, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Giovanni Pernice, Rhys Stephenson, Nancy Xu, AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington have all been announced as part of the touring cast, while eliminated co-stars Sara Davies, Aljaž Škorjanec, Tilly Ramsay and Nikita Kuzmin join them.

The likes of Neil Jones, Amy Dowden, Cameron Lombard, Jake Leigh, Jowita Przystal, Luba Mushtuk and Katya Jones are also representing the pros, with the latter set to pair up with Strictly 2020 contestant Max George (of The Wanted).

Meanwhile, the touring panel of judges is Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli; Janette Manrara is onboard as host.

Ahead of the events, EastEnders actress Rose shared: "I have loved every minute of my Strictly journey so far, so to be able to continue it on the live tour next year is so exciting! I can't wait to perform live in front of all the fans who have supported me through this incredible series."

"I cannot think of a better way to start the new year!" added TV presenter Rhys. "It will be fantastic to get my dancing shoes back on after Christmas and perform live in all those iconic venues."

Strictly Come Dancing 2021 airs on Saturday nights on BBC One, with results shows every Sunday. Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights at 6.30pm on BBC Two.
