Gogglebox's Pete Sandiford shares wedding photo with wife Paige

Gogglebox's Pete Sandiford has honoured his and wife Paige's six-month wedding anniversary on Instagram.

Posting a photo of the couple strolling by the sea on their special day, Pete added the following caption: "Happy 6 month wedding anniversary to my best mate, wife and the best mummy in the world @paigesandiford_".

The pair certainly felt the love in the comments section, with Pete's sister and Gogglebox co-star Sophie writing back: "Can't believe how quick it's gone... second best day ever (after Jimmy's birthday of course) love you both xxx."

Pete and Paige's marriage was only officially confirmed two months ago, as he told OK! magazine on the National Television Awards' red carpet: "I'm married now! It was nerve-wracking but the best day of my life. Well, second-best day as I'm a dad now, too.

"I'm buzzing [to be at the NTAs] as I got a full night's sleep in a hotel so I'm well happy. [Being a dad is] tiring. The lack of sleep is not cool but it's definitely worth it!

"He's basically a miniature version of me and Paige and that's what I always wanted, so I feel well lucky."

Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
