Sex and the City's upcoming reboot series has finished filming, with Sarah Jessica Parker confirming the big update on the new HBO Max series – which will see her reunite with co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis – and admitting she is feeling "very sentimental".
Taking to her Instagram Stories (via TheWrap), the actress shared a post of her walking down a studio hallway, saying: "This is my last walk – for now – as Carrie."
She added: "Just wrapped. Wow. An adventure and feeling very sentimental and that's it. Wow."
Fellow star Chris Noth (Mr Big) also marked the moment by sharing a picture with Parker, writing on his Instagram: "Late night finish in the park. Love every minute we get to be together @sarahjessicaparker".
Alongside the aforementioned stars, And Just Like That… is set to bring some new cast members on board, including Nicole Ari Parker, who recently revealed that the series will deal with race in its storylines.
Also joining are the likes of Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury and Karen Pittman, while late star Willie Garson is back as Stanford, as is Mario Cantone as Anthony, Evan Handler as Harry and David Eigenberg as Steve.
Ahead of the series' premiere next month, meanwhile, Parker recently spoke out against the misogynistic attitudes towards the show's cast, noting one offensive experience whilst eating out with Andy Cohen.
"There's so much misogynist chatter in response to us that would never. Happen. About. A. Man. 'Gray hair gray hair gray hair. Does she have gray hair?'" she told Vogue.
"I'm sitting with Andy Cohen and he has a full head of gray hair, and he's exquisite. Why is it okay for him? I don't know what to tell you people! Especially on social media," she noted.
"It almost feels as if people don't want us to be perfectly okay with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better."
And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City, will premiere on HBO Max in December 2021.
