Strictly's Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden return to training

Strictly Come Dancing's Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden have returned to training after testing positive for COVID-19.

Tom and Amy announced their COVID-19 diagnosis on September 26 and had to isolate for 10 days, meaning they missed last Saturday's show (October 2).

At the time, Amy told fans on Instagram: "Unfortunately @tomfletcher and I have tested positive for Covid-19. I'm not suffering any symptoms but am now isolating at home.

On Wednesday (October 6), Tom revealed on his Instagram Stories that the pair were back in training.

He shared a photo with Amy in the dance studio alongside the caption "LET'S GO!" and set to 'Especially For You' by Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan.

Tom and Amy will return to the dancefloor for this Saturday's (October 9) Movies Week show where they will perform the Jive to 'Johnny B Goode' from Back to the Future.

The song will pay tribute to his band McFly, who named themselves after the film's lead character Marty McFly.

On Twitter, Tom told fans: "I've been looking forward to learning to jive since signing up to Strictly so getting to do it dressed as Marty McFLY to the movie that changed my life…

"I'm living my childhood dream Saturday! CAN'T WAIT!"
