The Great British Bake Off's Rochica has written an inspiring letter to fans after being eliminated tonight (October 5).

The Birmingham baker was eliminated on round three of the beloved Channel 4 baking contest. Following her exit, Rochica has shared a letter with viewers, encouraging everyone to believe in themselves.

"When I applied for Bake Off, I never imagined it making it to the tent," she wrote.

Despite being disappointed at her early exit, Rochica said her weeks on Bake Off have taught her "new baking skills" as well as giving her "a huge confidence boost".

She gave a sweet shoutout to her "amazing new friends" and the production team, thanking them for their support and encouragement throughout her journey on the show.

The 27-year-old also thanked her family and friends for the support. She signed off by sharing a message to all fans of the show out there.

"Mistakes happen, all you can do is laugh and learn from them," she wrote.

"This experience has shown me that I shouldn't doubt my abilities as much as I do, so I'll continue to bake and challenge myself and see where it leads..." she finally added.

Rochica lost during Bread Week, one of the most demanding tasks of the show. The contestants had to try their hands at three carb-focused recipes: focaccia, ciabatta sticks and milk bread for the showstopper challenge.

Rochica overpowered her garlic focaccia and struggled to get the milk bread texture right, as Prue and Paul pointed out. Giuseppe was crowned Star Baker for the week, after the judges were blown away by his delicious Italian-inspired focaccia and creative, soft milk bread.

The Great British Bake Off airs on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
