Eamonn Holmes has announced the happy news that he's a grandfather.
The This Morning presenter revealed his eldest son Declan and his wife Jenny had welcomed a baby girl.
He added that baby Amelia was born weighing 7lb 6oz.
Discussing with wife Ruth Langsford what he wants to be called, Eamonn said: "I think, my friend Bill has anointed himself papa and I like that.
"It's like the Pope, I'd quite like my grandchildren to call me papa."
Declan is Eamonn's son from his previous marriage to Gabrielle Holmes. They also share daughter Rebecca and son Niall.
The couple split in 1994, and he welcomed son Jack with Ruth in 2002. Eamonn and Ruth went on to marry in 2010.
Previously discussing becoming a grandfather, he said: "I didn't think I would be so happy, but when they told me the news I got very emotional about it.
"I just thought, 'Me? I'm so young and vibrant.'
"What lovely news, regeneration. The old guard goes out, the new guard comes in.
"Declan is the same age that I was when I, well, your mummy, had you.
"Jenny – we wish you well. The baby is due in July sometime."
He added: "Please, no obligation to call the child Eamonn.
"We don't know if it's a boy or girl, we just want you to be healthy and happy.
"Thank you for bringing so much joy and happiness into our lives."
Ruth and Eamonn are currently back on This Morning, presenting while Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby go on their holidays.
"We've hosted so many This Morning summers now and we always look forward to it," Ruth said. "They are always a lot of fun the summer weeks, it has a slightly different vibe to it than the rest of the year.
"People are often tuning in on their own holidays, so we look forward to hearing where people are and they send us messages about what they are doing for the summer."
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10am.
