Stacey Solomon announces the gender of her and Joe Swash's baby

Stacey Solomon has announced the gender of her and Joe Swash's second baby together.

The pregnant star revealed the news on Instagram on Friday (2 July) as she shared adorable photos showing just how excited she and the former EastEnders actor and their children are about the new arrival.

The first photo show showed Stacey and Joe standing beside several pink balloons. Stacey wore a pink dress while her partner stood behind her in a pink top. As well as matching ensembles, the two also wore matching big grins.

The Loose Women star and former The X Factor finalist wrote in the caption: "Baby Girl I can not believe I'm writing this… We are growing a little baby girl.

"To our darling boys, you are the best big brothers anyone could wish for and you're little sister is the luckiest girl in the world to have you all by her side. I honestly have no words," she continued with several hearts and loudly crying emoji.

"Mummy Daddy and ALL of your big brothers can not wait to meet you little one… We love you so so much already darling girl."

It's not surprising the two were so overwhelmed by the news they're expecting a baby girl, as the loved up couple have a plethora of sons between them.

Stacey is mum to 13-year-old Zachary and 9-year-old Leighton from previous relationships, while Joe is also dad to a son, 14-year-old Harry, from a past relationship. Stacey and Joe also welcomed a son together, Rex, in 2019.

Stacey and Joe announced they were expecting their second child together in June when they told the world via Instagram that they were expanding their blended family by "growing another pickle".
