Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse has hinted that she'd like to take on another role on the show, following her fellow pros Anton Du Beke and Janette Manrara's recent moves away from the dancefloor.
Shortly after Janette was announced as the new co-presenter of Strictly's sister show It Takes Two, and Anton was confirmed as a permanent judge for the main series, Oti has entertained the idea of being something other than a professional partner.
Appearing on Steph's Packet Lunch with Johannes Radebe, the dancer remained coy when asked if she'd ever join the other side of the Strictly dancefloor. "I don't know. I don't like to jinx things, do you know what I mean?" she mused.
Pointing out that her sister Motsi is already established on the panel, Oti – who recently served as a judge on The Masked Dancer – added: "I feel like my sister's there and she's doing such a brilliant job.
"[So] maybe something else, maybe another role. Oh my god, I've already gotten myself in trouble, haven't I?"
All this talk of Strictly judges comes after the BBC One show confirmed that long-time professional dancer Anton Du Beke would be replacing judge Bruno Tonioli for its 2021 line-up.
The fan favourite will be stepping up in Bruno's place this year after his guest stint in 2020, while regulars Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Shirley Ballas will all be returning.
"My loves I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to be stepping into Bruno's brogues for the next series of Strictly," Anton said following the announcement.
"It's a dream come true to be judging alongside the best of the best and I promise to be kinder to all the couples than any of them have ever been to me."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One. It's due to return later in 2021.
