Ruth Langsford shared a peek into her garden over the weekend as she spent an afternoon working on the garden with her mum.
In a clip shared to her Instagram account, Ruth walks towards her mum who is planting flowers in a raised planter. The garden surrounding her is full of abundant flowers in various shades of pink and white.
As her mum works on the flower bed with a trowel, Ruth asks, “You having fun there?” to which her mum replies, “Yes,” adding, “I’m just breaking it up as I go,” referring to the soil she is working over.
Alongside the video, Ruth wrote a caption to say she had a “wonderful afternoon spent gardening with Mum,” adding, “it’s the little things.”
In the background of the clip are various benches and garden seating for al fresco socialising, such as the garden drinks Ruth recently shared with friend and Homes Under the Hammer presenter, Lucy Alexander.
As well as gardening with her mum over the weekend, Ruth marked her 11 year wedding anniversary with husband Eamonn Holmes.
Alongside a throwback photo from their wedding day, Ruth said they were “still holding on tight to each other after 25 years…11 of them married today!” and said “Happy Anniversary my darling,” tagging Eamonn’s own account.
The couple have had a lot to celebrate recently, as Eamonn also revealed last week that his daughter Rebecca (from his previous marriage) was engaged to her now fiancé Mark.
