The Duchess of Cornwall has opened a flower exhibition at the Garden Museum in London for British Flowers Week.

The Duchess visited the museum’s exhibition which has been designed to “showcase the unique seasonal quality of British flowers, plants and foliage,” around a theme of healing.

To attend the exhibition, the Duchess wore a tropical, floral-print shirt dress and a co-ordinating flower-themed face covering.

While at the museum, the Camilla visited a new exhibition on famous florist Constance Spry. In a post, Prince Charles and Camilla’s official Instagram account, Clarence House, explained that Duchess went to see “the Garden Museum’s new exhibition, ‘Constance Spry and Fashion for Flowers’, which was curated by Royal florist Shane Connolly.”

As she left the Garden Museum, Camilla was presented with a touching gift in the form of a bouquet including rosemary. Rosemary is a symbol of remembrance and was given to the Duchess to commemorate her late father-in-law Prince Philip, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

The Duke of Edinburgh would have turned 100 yesterday (10 June) and members of the Royal Family have paid their respects with a range of touching posts.

Clarence House shared a photograph of Prince Charles as a boy holding his father’s hand when the Duke arrived back from a trip to Malta, while Princess Eugenie said she was “thinking of Grandpa” on what would have been his birthday.

To honour the occasion, the RHS presented the Queen with a Duke of Edinburgh rose, named in honour of Prince Philip. The rose has been planted in his memory at Windsor Castle.
