Call the Midwife’s Helen George, who plays Trixie Franklin, shared a selection of throwback photographs from the past 10 years filming the show, in celebration of a decade of episodes.
Pictures of the cast smiling as they film a dinner scene is the lead image, followed by snaps of them taking a break outside their trailers and selfies in costume.
Alongside the photos Helen wrote, “10 years and forever grateful,” tagging Neal Street Productions and the official Call the Midwife Instagram account.
Followers of Helen and fans of the show were quick to respond to the charming behind the scenes snaps.
“I’ve been watching it for years and it’s still the best!” read one comment while another declared Call the Midwife, “the best show on TV!”
The post follows a special episode last night which celebrated 10 years of the popular show and took a look back at the characters, storylines and cast from across the many series.
A few weeks ago, Helen welcomed Call the Midwife series 10 with a throwback shot of herself in costume as Trixie for the very first time a decade ago.
Laura Main, who plays Shelagh Turner in the show, also celebrated the latest series with a string of behind-the-scenes photographs counting down to the first episode on her Instagram account.
The adorable child actors who play her on-screen children were frequently featured in the images which showed the cast having fun together between filming.
