Kirstie Allsopp has called on dog owners to put their dog poo in the bin - and not to carelessly dump bags on the street.
The presenter tweeted about the dog's mess plight on her West London street, explaining dog owners routinely dumped their full doggy bags on her road instead of putting them in a bin or taking it home - and she's had enough.
Kirstie expressed her disdain at her local council funds being used to clean up fouling rather than be diverted into other council-run endeavours.
"Do you recognise this dog? Today for the 2nd time this week, this smartly dressed lady was witnessed dropping a poo bag," she tweeted. "Why should @RBKC pay to pick it up? Who is missing out on much needed social care because she is too lazy to find a bin?@KeepBritainTidy.
"There is a bin just behind, and one at the end of the street. There is no justification or excuse for this. This lady is obviously conscious of her appearance, why does the appearance of my street not matter?"
She added that "this has gone too far in our street, and across country. Councils are spending millions & millions on picking up poo bags. This is much needed money, especially at the moment. It is sheer selfishness, nothing more, nothing less."
