Fred Sirieix is every bit the proud father as he reveals his 17-year-old daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix has qualified for the Olympics.

He shared a clip of her competing at the Fina diving world cup and she's incredible.

The First Dates host captioned the video: "So proud, happy and excited for Andrea. She just won her place in the @fina1908 #worldcup #diving #10m #platform semi final and qualified for olympics #goAndrea 🦆❤️ @teamgb @britishswimming"

Andrea won her first solo international gold medal in the women's 10m platform at the Fina Diving Grand Prix in Rostock, Germany in February of last year aged just 15, having won her first senior British title in the same event at the British National Diving Championships only a month earlier.

So it's understandable that the young diver won the coveted BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award back in December 2020.

Such impressive accomplishments at such a young age, Fred must be so so proud of her. He also shared a photo of his superstar teenager on International Women's Day with a heartfelt message.

Writing: "This #internationalwomensday is a reminder for us all to take personal responsibility for the world we live in. To think and act in a way that make all women and men equal. If we all do that it’s job done! Fly mon 🦆 you can be whatever you want to be ❤️"

Congrats Andrea! And Fred too!
