Strictly Come Dancing star Gemma Atkinson revealed her engagement to Gorka Marquez last month, and now the professional dancer has shared a little more about their wedding plans.

On yesterday's (March 22) Steph's Packed Lunch, Gorka said that things are a bit up in the air at the moment due to the worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

"We don't know what's going to happen," he told Steph McGovern. "In my head, I had it planned maybe next year but we don't really know. We're happy like we are right now. We want to make the wedding for all the family and friends.

"We don't know yet, so we want to plan it properly and have all the family from Spain, all the family from here, friends and everything come together."

He also revealed that he planned the proposal for a bit earlier than Valentine's Day, seeing as that would be their anniversary, but was forced to delay it due to logistics and ended up making it a February 14 proposal, which worked out just fine.

Gemma and Gorka first met on the dancing competition in 2017. Soon after, they moved in together in Manchester and welcomed a daughter named Mia in 2019.

The former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actress has previously said that they'd like to have another child in the future.
