It's never nice to have to go to work on your birthday, unless you're Holly Willoughby.
The presenter celebrated her 40th birthday live on This Morning on Wednesday (February 10) with the show becoming one big party for Holly.
And Holly's co-presenter Phillip Schofield had plenty in store for her, with the surprises starting as soon as she arrived at work.
In a clip shared on This Morning, Holly was seen arriving at the studio, with the staff welcoming her by singing Stevie Wonder's 'Happy Birthday' as she walked through a display of balloons.
Then, when the show started, Holly was shocked by some indoor pyrotechnics, while Phil surprised her with a Colin the Caterpillar cake.
Holly was then brought over to a beach bar-inspired set, with Gok Wan on the DJ decks spinning some of Holly's favourite tunes, chef James Martin making cocktails, and real sand.
She also received a poster of her teen crush, singer Paul Young, who then surprised her with a special birthday message.
But Holly had her own surprise for viewers as she wore the same dress her mother Linda wore on her 4oth birthday.
Holly revealed she had asked her mum if she still had the dress and then pretended it didn't fit so she could surprise her by wearing it live on air.
Later in the programme Holly was brought to tears by a poem written especially for her by poet Tom Foolery and read by him and Phil as well as a special Zoom call with her three childhood best friends.
And the show put together a hilarious compilation of her biggest bloopers since she started presenting This Morning in 2009.
Holly also received birthday messages from Bradley Walsh, Lisa Riley, Keith Lemon, Fearne Cotton and Ant and Dec.
This Morning airs on weekdays from 10am on ITV.
