Ranvir Singh is the latest celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing, leaving fans absolutely gutted she was voted out.

The Good Morning Britain presenter's fellow dancers on the show also lined up to praise her after she left the competition - with dance partner Giovanni calling her "a true hero". Aww.

After the couple found themselves in the bottom two with Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer in the dance off and were voted out of the competition, Ranvir posted a touching tribute on Instagram about her time on the show.

Strictly finalist Maisie Smith said: "I feel honoured to have danced on the same stage as such a wonderful person 💘 well done beautiful xxx"

Broadcaster and fellow Strictly pal Clara Amfo echoed Maisie's sentiments, commenting, "You mate...gorgeous inside and out, a woman’s woman, a real life superhero and a beautiful dancer, be SO SO SO proud of yourself."

On Sunday night (13 December) both couples performed their routines again; Ranvir and Giovanni performed their waltz to Un Giorno Per Noi by Josh Groban while Jamie and Karen performed their salsa to Last Dance by Donna Summer.

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Jamie and Karen, although said both couples were incredible: “I think both couples couldn’t have danced those dances better than they did tonight, it was incredible and I want to see both of you in the final.

Motsi Mabuse chose to save Ranvir and Giovanni, but head judge Shirley Ballas had the deciding vote and went for Jamie and Karen.

When asked by Tess about her time on the show Ranvir said: “I’m just really sorry for him [Gio], he’s worked so hard and been in so many finals that I’m really sorry I couldn’t do it for you. Sorry.”

Giovanni was on hand for some inspirational words for Ranvir too: “You don’t have to be sorry at all, we’ve both worked very hard, you’ve been an absolute dream to work with. You are a true hero, your job at 3 o'clock in the morning then you come in the room and dance with me.

"I’m really hoping from this experience you just feel a better person because you truly are an amazing person inside and out. Yes, you’ve grown as a dancer but more I hope you feel happier in your life because you deserve it.”

Sob.
