We recently received the brilliant news that legendary singer-songwriter Dolly Parton has released a Christmas album 'A Holly Dolly Christmas', 30 years after she last came out with festive music.
The 12-track album features a mix of Christmas classics, including All I Want For Christmas Is You and Holly Jolly Christmas, as well as some brilliant new Dolly originals.
And that's not all that's new for Dolly this Christmas season, as she's starring in a brand new festive movie on Netflix called Dolly Parton's Christmas On The Square.
Dolly Parton's Christmas On The Square: What's it about?
"A rich and nasty woman, Regina Fuller, returns to her small hometown after her father’s death to evict everyone and sell the land to a mall developer - right before Christmas. However, after listening to stories of the local townsfolk, reconnecting with an old love, and accepting the guidance of an actual angel, Regina starts to have a change of heart. This is the story about family, love, and how a small town’s Christmas spirit can warm even the coldest of hearts," Netflix said.
Dolly Parton's Christmas On The Square: Who's in it?
The movie will star Dolly Parton, Christine Baranski, Jenifer Lewis, Treat Williams, and it was directed and choreographed by three-time Emmy and Golden Globe winner Debbie Allen. The film will feature 14 original songs with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton.
