Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez has left an emotional message for his girlfriend, Gemma Atkinson, before departing for the live shows.
The professional dancer will be apart from Gemma and their daughter, Mia, as the BBC show places its stars in isolation together.
During Monday's (5 October) episode of Steph's Packed Lunch on Channel 4, host Steph McGovern treated Gemma to the surprise message from her boyfriend.
"Hello baby, I hope you are having a great show. I just wanted to surprise you and say that I am so proud of you and everything that you do," Gorka began.
"You're a super mum, taking care of Mia for all these weeks – doing your radio show and now doing Steph's Packed Lunch – just want to tell you that I love you and I am so proud of you. I cannot wait to be back with you."
Overcome with emotion after watching the clip, Gemma said: "I'm getting a little teary eyed – bless him! Since I've had a baby, I cry at everything!"
Last week, it was announced that there would be no Halloween special this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and inevitable restrictions on filming. Contestants will also be eliminated immediately if they test positive for the virus.
Steph's Packed Lunch airs weekdays at 12.30pm on Channel 4, while Strictly Come Dancing will return for an all-new series later this year on BBC One.
