Princess Beatrice looked gorgeous on her wedding day in July, wearing a vintage Norman Hartnell dress that once belonged to her grandmother, the Queen.
Now, royal fans will have the chance to see the beautiful dress up close, as Beatrice's wedding gown goes on display at Windsor Castle.
The Royal Collection Trust shared the exciting news today (7 September), revealing that Princess Beatrice's dress will be displayed at Windsor Castle from 24 September - 22 November 2020.
The gorgeous piece was first worn by the Queen in the 1960s, and was loaned to the Princess for her wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on 17 July 2020.
The vintage dress is made of ivory peau de soie taffeta and the skirt is trimmed with a band of ivory duchesse satin, according to the Royal Collection Trust.
The original design of the dress was altered specially for Beatrice's day, under the guidance of Angela Kelly, Personal Advisor, Dresser and Curator to The Queen, and the British fashion designer Stewart Parvin.
To give the dress a more modern-feel, the full-skirted silhouette was softened, the shape simplified and the underskirt and petticoats were recreated and bound with silk tulle, according to the Royal Collection Trust.
Short sleeves of triple organza were also added to the straps of the dress and embroidered with vintage diamantés to match the original Hartnell embroidery design.
As well as the gown, Princess Beatrice's Valentino wedding shoes and a replica of her bridal bouquet made of artificial flowers will also go on display.
Princess Beatrice's special wedding display will be included as part of standard admission to Windsor Castle.
