Amanda Holden has a lot of strings to her bow – she's a successful TV presenter and radio star, and has even shown she's a fantastic singer. And now, she has just revealed that she may even be a bit psychic, too...
The Heart Radio presenter has revealed that she correctly guessed the name of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s newborn daughter all the way back in June, a full two months before the singer gave birth.
On Friday (28 August), Amanda shared a video on Instagram from her breakfast show with co-host Jamie Theakston on a video call with Katy Perry that took place earlier this summer, where they discussed potential baby names.
In the clip, Katy tells the radio hosts that she and Orlando have thought of a couple of names, to which Amanda eventually responds by putting forth her own suggestion of the name 'Daisy'.
And this is indeed the very name that Katy and Orlando have given to their baby girl, who was born on Wednesday (27 August).
“I like 'Daisy Bloom', because I think the surname with 'Bloom' and daisies and flowers…And Perry-Bloom is a brilliant hyphen. Daisy Perry-Bloom!” says Amanda.
Alongside the video, Amanda wrote: "I love @katyperry’s face when I correctly predict her baby’s name back in June” – a fitting caption, as Katy certainly does look pretty wide-eyed when the radio host makes her suggestion.
Katy and Orlando shared their happy news of baby Daisy's arrival with the world via an adorable Instagram post, with the two of them holding the hand of their little one. They also revealed that her full name is "Daisy Dove Bloom".
Congratulations, Katy and Orlando!
