As well as being the official residence of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, Kensington Palace is a tourist attraction full of exhibitions for royal fans to explore.

And now, the Palace has announced Princess Diana's iconic 'Travolta' dress is now going on display!

The stunning velvet number has been dubbed the 'Travolta' dress as Diana famously wore it when she danced with actor John Travolta at a White House Gala in 1985.

As the Palace reopens following the UK lockdown, visitors will find the dress on display in the Stone Hall accompanied by sketches of some of Diana's best looks.

The sketches also feature handwritten comments from the Princess, and show how each design was created. Fans will see sketches such as the outfit she wore as she boarded the train for her honeymoon in 1981 and the tuxedo-style evening gown she wore in 1989.

Entrance to the exhibition is included in Palace admission, for more information on tickets see the Kensington Palace website.
