Princess Beatrice married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony at Windsor on Friday morning (17 July), in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh as well as close family, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
The couple were originally due to wed on 29 May at The Chapel Royal in St James's Palace but, like so many, were forced to postpone their nuptials as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Duke and Duchess of York's eldest daughter tied the knot with Italian property developer Edoardo at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor, abiding by government guidelines and with close family in attendance.
"The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11am on Friday 17th July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor," a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said in an official statement shared with Good Housekeeping UK.
"The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family.
"The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines."
Weddings in England are now allowed to take place with strict social distancing measures in place and a maximum of 30 people in attendance.
Beatrice, 31, and Edoardo, 37, announced their engagement in September 2019, sharing a series of stunning portraits to mark the occasion on Instagram.
Sending huge congratulations to the happy couple!
