It's been 24 years since the Spice Girls released their debut single, Wannabe, marking the start of the most iconic girl band in the world. And another group of ladies, the Loose Women, took to Instagram to mark the occasion by posting a tribute to the band on Wednesday (8 June).
The official Loose Women Instagram page shared a throwback photo of members of the panel dressed up as the band back in 2016, when they celebrated the 20th anniversary of the song's release.
The caption reads: "It's been 24 years since the Spice Girls released Wannabe and four years since our #LooseWomen put their own spin on it 😂"
Easily recognisable, Nadia Sawalha is dressed as Scary Spice Mel B; Ayda Field Williams donned a little black dress as Posh Spice Victoria; Andrea McLean went red in the iconic Union Jack dress as Ginger Spice Gerri and Kaye Adams laced up her trainers as Sporty Spice, Mel C.
The outsider addition to the line up was none other than former Strictly Come Dancing star Vincent Simone, who was making a guest appearance on the show and filled in as their fifth member, Baby Spice Emma Bunton.
If you missed it first time round, they didn't just dress up, they performed the track live on the show – a clip of which is still available to watch on the Loose Women YouTube page.
A top group costume choice for the last two decades, this might be one of our favourite Spice Girl squads of all time.
Loose Women airs on ITV.
