This Morning's Alison Hammond returned to the show in true-Alison style by dancing in a a colourful two-metre long hat which entertained hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
As the TV presenter made her dramatic entrance into the studio after 15 weeks at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, Alison announced: "I'm here guys! Keep your distance, guys!"
Host Philip Schofield joked: "You really should have one out the front and one out the back."
The flamboyant hat had a two-metre pole on either side in accordance with the current government's guidelines on keeping socially-distanced.
Alison quipped: "No because that would be a whole new story."
Co-presenter Holly Willoughby told Alison: "You know what? This is really hard because you give the best hugs. My body is just wanting to give you a hug right now."
When Holly and Phil asked how she was doing, Alison replied: "I've been really good guys. I got my hair done yesterday, I couldn't get in on Saturday. Do you like my hat? I'll just put that there... I'm back!"
The star was making mojito cocktails for viewers to recreate at home, and fans were delighted to have her back in the studio.
"I was so excited to see Alison back, love her so much, made the fab show even better," one fan reacted on Twitter.
Another added: "Alison is a national treasure."
Backstage Philip laughed as he told fans: If you want to know how far back to stay from someone, Alison Hammond has the answer..."
"My two metre pole," Alison replied as she did a little twirl for Phil.
Great to have you back, Alison!
