Fans of Channel 4's Gogglebox are loving a throwback snap shared by firm favourites and best friends Jenny and Lee.
The lifelong pals from Hull have been winning viewers' hearts since they joined season four of the show back in 2014, but this classic pic goes back even further than that...
The photo was shared initially on the pair's Instagram but reposted by Channel 4's main page, with the broadcaster commenting on how glam the pair look in their formalwear.
The caption reads: "Let’s hear it for Lee and Jenny’s 90s glow-up 💕🙌🙌 #Gogglebox."
Thanks to their glowing tans and dark hair, not to mention the early Noughties feel to Jenny's hair and makeup — and her iconic flower necklace — the photo is a real blast from the past.
On the duo's joint Instagram, Lee gave some context to the glamorous snap, writing: "Old photo 16 years ago of me and Jenny on a cruise." We can only imagine how much fun those two would be on holiday!
And, given that they're posing like a happy couple with Jenny holding a bouquet, Lee jokingly clarified that it wasn't a wedding snap. He added: "And, no, before you ask we didn’t get married 😂😂😂😂😂😂"
This pair, who have been isolating together in Jenny's caravan in order to continue filming the show during lockdown, have the kind of friendship we all need!
