Last week Amanda Holden made the surprise announcement that she had released a cover of Over the Rainbow, to help raise funds for NHS Charities Together. Now she's shared the video too, and it features a cameo from Captain Tom Moore.

The track was actually recorded for her upcoming album, but given the adoption of the rainbow as the symbol of thanks for our NHS heroes, it was a perfect fit to be released now as a charity single.

Revealing a clip of the video over Instagram, the TV star wrote: "I’m so proud to share the Over The Rainbow music video with you! 🌈

"I recorded the song last year and the video gives a behind the scenes look into that studio session, which was so exciting because this song is so special to me. There’s also cameos from people all over the UK paying tribute to our wonderful NHS workers…. plus a very very very special appearance by my hero Captain Tom Moore."

Filled with smiling faces taking part in the weekly clap for our carers, or creating beautiful rainbows for them, the video celebrates all the ways we're saying thank you to our wonderful health service.

Amanda went on to thank fans and followers for supporting the track since its release last week.

"Your support for #OverTheRainbow and #AllInThisTogether so far has been overwhelming and I’m so grateful we could do our little bit for the NHS together," she said.
