Stacey Dooley has posted a touching tribute to boyfriend Kevin Clifton after he announced on Friday (6 March) that he has quit Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV presented shared a sweet selfie of herself and the former pro dancer on Instagram in response to his announcement earlier on Friday. The couple met on the show in 2018 and even walked away with the glitter ball trophy.
"...[He] will always be the King of Strictly," Stacey wrote in the accompanying caption. "Well done darlin. Watch this space!!!! ❤️❤️"
Kevin revealed the big news that he's leaving Strictly after seven years on the show in an Instagram post.
In his emotional caption, the 37-year-old thanked "the entire Strictly family", including all of his fellow pros and celebrity partners over the years.
"To me Strictly always has been and always will be the best show on TV and has been an absolute dream and honour to be a part of," he wrote, before adding that he can't wait to tune in and watch future series.
