Everyone expects celebrities to get together with their professional partners on Strictly Come Dancing – but it happens on Dancing on Ice sometimes too, with one pairing from the current series announcing that they are a couple already.
Former Republic of Ireland footballer turned TV pundit Kevin Kilbane and his professional dance partner, Brianne Delcourt, have told OK! that they are official.
Brianne stated: "We were just friends initially, but he’s been my biggest support while I've been without my daughter. Kev's a dad, too, so he gets it. He's been my best bud."
Brianne has a three-year-old daughter, while Kevin has two daughters aged 14 and 15, respectively.
Kevin added that: "There was an attraction with Brianne the first time I met her. But it was way more than that. Everything clicked.
"I asked her on a date after a week of knowing her, but she said no."
"I just felt like we were dating anyway," Brianne chipped in to say, "because we were spending so much time together!"
She added that a casual dinner they had a few days after meeting was really their first date.
Dancing on Ice returns on Sunday, January 5.
