John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John gave Grease fans something to smile about this weekend as the stars reunited for a very special event.
The duo got all dressed up to attend a 'Meet 'n' Grease' sing-along event in Florida, with John wearing a leather jacket and all-black ensemble reminiscent of his T-Bird days. Meanwhile, Olivia looked sweet as could be in a matching yellow skirt and cardigan very similar to the one she wore as Sandy in the original film.
She shared a snap from behind the scenes at the event on Instagram, writing, "First time in costume since we made the movie! So excited!!"
Grease fans have been 'Hopelessly Devoted' to the film ever since its original release in 1978, when it captured hearts thanks to a cast of loveable characters and a soundtrack filled with infectious songs.
Speaking to People to mark the 40th anniversary of the beloved film last year, Olivia called the experience of being in Grease "life-changing" and reflected on the enduring nature of her friendship with John.
"[At the premiere] you got the feeling from the energy that something was happening. It was a huge response. I feel grateful to be a part of that and to have worked with him. We’ve stayed friends ever since."
