Strictly Come Dancing finalist Emma Barton reveals routine change

Strictly Come Dancing finalist Emma Barton has revealed there will be one major change to one of her and Anton Du Beke's dances during the grand final on Saturday (December 14).

Speaking to Zoe Ball on Radio 2 on Wednesday morning (December 11), the EastEnders star shared that she and her professional partner will be performing their Charleston without any backing dancers, which has left them having to change some of the choreography.

The duo last performed their Charleston back in musical week – and while Emma is highly fond of the routine, she admitted things will be slightly different this time around.

"It was great because we had the extra dancers, but we don't have the extra dancers on Saturday. It's just Anton and I," she told a surprised Zoe. "So we've have to do some changes.

"I was like, 'Oh no! Can't I keep it the same?!'" she added.

On how it felt to be a finalist, she said: "I can't actually find the words. I'm just so thrilled. I'm thrilled for Anton and it's just been one of the best times of my life, this whole journey."

Having received his first ever batch of tens from the Strictly judges, Anton is now competing in his second final in 17 years.

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 airs its grand final on Saturday (December 14) at 7.05pm on BBC One.
