Strictly - Chris Ramsey's wife 'angry' over his transformation

Chris Ramsey has joked his wife isn't too happy about the weight he's shed during his time on Strictly Come Dancing.

Since taking to the dance floor with his Strictly pro partner Karen Hauer, Chris has been dropping the pounds like nobody's business – so much so that he's even able to fit into some of his old clothes.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said: "Honestly, I put a dress jacket on today that I wear if I am doing a posh gig like an awards show or corporate do and I could button it! I’ve never been able to button it in my life! Night and day I’ve lost so much weight."

He continued: "Around my face as well, my posture is better and I’m looking forward to undoing all that good work over Christmas."

However, Chris's wife, Rosie Winter, doesn't share his enthusiasm for his body transformation, as the comedian revealed she's rather jealous of him losing weight so easily.

“It’s no secret that she’s a little bit angry I’ve lost so much weight while doing work,” he said. "It’s not like I’ve had to go into a gym, she’s like, 'for f**k’s sake!"

He added: "Generally, because I’ve got a fast metabolism I can eat what I want and not be huge, so she’s very used to being annoyed at how I look which gives me endless joy."

However, Chris says he's going to indulge in some festive gluttony – which, as we know, is the true meaning of Christmas.

"Everything in the world, all of the meats, all of the cheeses, all of the carbs, all the beers, all the stuff all of the time."
