Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Janette Manrara has declared that the current series is "anyone's game".

Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday (October 22) to promote her forthcoming tour alongside fellow Strictly star and husband Aljaž Škorjanec, Janette explained that the 2019 competition is so wide open that she and her fellow dancers "cannot call what's going to happen".

Which may explain that shocking result a couple of weeks ago...

"You know what I like about this series?" Janette said. "We can't call it.

"I feel like every week you cannot call who it is that's going to be in that dance off or what's going to happen.

"It's quite an interesting one because you always kind of see frontrunners and you kind of know what's going on but this year literally it's anyone's game."

Janette's comments follow Aljaž previously telling This Morning about his desire to finally win the series, a sentiment she also shared on GMB.

"The dream would be both of us in the final one year together," she added.

"That would be amazing."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV. Strictly Come Dancing 2019 continues on Saturday (October 26) at 6.35pm on BBC One.
